(Mint Condition) MINT - As close to "new" as possible for its age. No problems.
(Excellent Condition) Normal wear expected for age. Any problems are not easily visible.
(Gently Used) Normal wear expected for age. Shows very minimal wear
(Used) A purse that was used everyday. Not abused.... but used, shows more noticeable wear.

A very rare long totally unique black leather clutch from the 50's designed by "jenny". Thick quality leather is pleated along a band of black leather on the front and the smooth leather backside is topped off with a swooping amber-colored Lucite adornment. The silver metal zipper opens up to expose an interior lined with pristine black grosgrain with an open sidewall pocket. This is a vintage cutch when carried will be admired and will get so many envious looks. SIMPLY AMAZING! Measures 15" W x 6" H not encluding the Lucite adornment. The 70's Continental purses are so hard to find and this Continental leather handbag is one of the rarest. Covered in bone-colored genuine leather with so much unique detail. The wide silver metal frame has a lot of silver metal peg detail and more silver metal pegs are aborning the leather flap on the front. The purse rests on 4 silver metal foot pegs. The interior is lined in brown cotton fabric with a ball-chain key fob adorning the Continental Logo. Topping the purse is a double chunky chain shoulder strap. A unique and eye-catching purse from the 80's by "Barbara Bolan", her handbags are very distinctive and one look you know her handbags. All her designs in in the 80's were made in Italy. Barbara Bolan designs can be seen in The Metropolitan Museum of Art permanent collection. A Bolan handbag is featured on page 96, “The Power of the Purse” by Anna Johnson. This creation Barbara used moss green leather with darker green metallic lines. There is a simple deco deign on the front using dark moss green leather piping. The frame is wrapped in the came color leather. The European shoulder strap is designed tuck inside the handbag for use as a clutch. The interior is lined in black leather with a brass zipped sidewall pocket.
